Youth Enrichment Program

Program : Youth Enrichment Program

Position: Youth Activity Monitor

Description: The youth activity monitor watch the activities of the students outside on the COMYC facilities. The monitor reports to the Program Coordinator  or Executive Director any infractions of the rules. In addition, the monitor maintains the rules of conduct outlined in the volunteer policy.

Frequency: Monday Through Friday

Time: 3pm – 6pm

The Community Breakfast (Every 3rd Saturday)

Program: The Community Breakfast 

Volunteer Opportunity Tasks: Meal Prep and Packaging, Meal Distribution, Program Cleanup, Program Setup

Description: The youth activity monitor watches the activities of the students outside on the COMYC facilities. Frequency: 3rd Saturday of Each Month – Except August

Time: 7:00am – 10:am

Program Set-Up – 7:00-8:00am – The opportunity involves setting up tables, preparing packaging, bags and supplies for the meal prep & packaging team.

Meal Prep & Packaging 7:45-9am – The opportunity involves placing the prepared food in trays and preparing them for transport.

Meal Distribution 8:45-10am – The opportunity involves distributing the food trays and associated items at the local shelter to members of the community.

Program Clean-Up -10:00am – 11:00am  – The opportunity involves cleaning up, discarding trash, washing dishes, wiping tables. Etc.

More Information: This is perfect for a student groups seeking community service hours and an adults of any age.
